Etienne Duijf
Etienne's passion is to help people and organizations flourish through mind training solutions. Seeing the struggles and suffering of people and organizations, he founded the Mind@work Academy. His mission is to offer state-of-the-art and high impact solutions that help develop mental and emotional wellbeing & enable individual and organizational performance.
Etienne studied Industrial engineering and management, worked in IT-consultancy, Development aid, Leadership development and Learning & Development. He worked with many organizations across the globe and gained extensive experience in the corporate world while working for organizations like FranklinCovey, Philips and ASML. In his career he has trained thousands of people from more than fifty different countries.
When he was living, traveling and working in Nepal, India and Bhutan he got introduced to Buddhism and started to practice meditation. This ignited his interest in the study and development of the mind. "We use our mind in everything, hence developing the mind will change everything." In 2014 he completed his teacher training in Cultivating Emotional Balance (CEB). CEB is a training program that was initiated by the Dalai Lama and developed with renowned meditation experts and psychologists. Since then he started teaching meditation and mindfulness. He moreover completed a study in health psychology, and extensively researched and studied neuroscience, philosophy and many other disciplines. He developed a unique, holistic and integrated approach to find a real solution to the many challenges that people, teams and organizations face. Etienne is the author of the book: Manage your mind@work - modern science and ancient wisdom for peace of mind, meaning and fulfilment. Etienne is a well-recognized mind training and leadership expert, known for his calmness, kindness and insight. In his trainings and keynotes he offers a unique blend of modern science, ancient wisdom and practical application.
